Why should I use a travel advisor?

Even in the age of online booking, travel advisors are a great source of information and discounts. A travel advisor can make sure that your trip is tailored to you, assist you in case of unexpected problems, and help you anticipate potential issues in advance.

Many times, when you are booking through various online sites, they are not contracted with the particular hotel you are looking to book, therefore you are not necessarily booking or getting what you think you are. I have most times met and/or worked with the general manager or members of the sales departments.

Will I pay more if I book through an advisor?

My fees are transparent. In many cases, you save more with included perks and upgrades not offered on other online booking sites. I can work within your budget, and I always focus on making sure that you get a solid value in return for my fees.

Do you book group travel?

Yes! Would you like to package a spa retreat or wine tasting event? I can handle the details and ensure that you have access to group spacing.

How are you compensated?

-Planning fees

-Commission paid by hotels, cruises etc. These are fees already built in to the published rate you can see online whether you book through us or not. That fee will go directly to the hotel booking directly as opposed to me.

Why do you charge fees?

Just like many other professionals, fees are charged to help compensate for our time and expertise. We invest a lot of our own time and money to experience destinations, hotels, and experiences first hand so we have insider knowledge to insure you will have seamless experience. We also attend multiple yearly conferences to build better relationships and learn about various places to best serve you. Charging a fee also helps us work with clients that are serious about booking a trip so we can invest the most time into that.
